At the Beer Store my Dad works at, a difficult-to-handle woman came in and got a pack of beer bottles. Awhile later, she came back and demanded a new pack of beer, because the bottles apparently made a mess of the backseat of her truck. Her story was that she started hearing them go *pop*, *pop*, *pop*. My Dad knew better than to believe the story, but he wasn’t about to go outside and check her truck for proof, when there was a lineup. His boss ended up giving her a new case, so as to not deal with her. My Dad figured that she either slammed on the brakes, and the case fell on the floor, or they were broken on purpose…
