I work in a smoke shop/adult novelty store, so I deal with my fair share of odd balls, both in store and over the phone.

Me: (answering the phone) Thank you for calling (store), how can I help you?

Male: Hi, I was just in the store like 10 minutes ago. I don’t know if you remember me. (I do remember him. He bought nothing, and asked me if there were places around to “meet people.” I could tell he had a deeper meaning to his question, so I told him I didn’t know). I had a quick question for you. Do you know if there are any strip clubs in the area?

Me: (glad he can’t see me cause I’m rolling my eyes.) Not to my knowledge sir.

Male: Ok. Thanks! (Hangs up.)

Me: *thinking to myself* Never a dull moment…
