A person comes up to the register holding a rusted stake used to tie out dogs. She also had a new one.
customer:”i’d like to return this” holds the rusted stake up.
me: “ok. do you have your receipt?”
customer:” No, i bought it a couple of years ago. But now it’s rusted so i’d like to exchange it for a new one.”
Me” Ummm, we can’t do that. Our return policy is three months, not three years. ”
customer”But i bought it here, and it no longer works! I demand a refund!”
me”…let me gat a mannager”
mannager” Mam’ there’s such a thing as normal wear and tear. We will not return a three year old, clearly used stake.”
