Won’t Be Back In A Flash

(As a child of the 1990s, I grew up watching superhero cartoons. I had fallen for Flash; it just clicking with him meant he become my favorite hero when I was six years old. My fiancé and I are watching the brand new Flash series when the preview for the next episode says ‘in two weeks.’)

Fiancé: “What? What!? I have to wait two weeks for this?”

Me: *turning and giving him the most annoyed stare that I can*

Fiancé: *turns to me* “This is some bull-s***! What the h***!?”

Me: “I waited almost twenty years for this. You can wait two weeks.”
