Mom: “What’s The Sound of Silence? I’ve never heard of them.”

Me: “It’s not a band; it’s a song. You know, the one by Simon and Garfunkel?”

Mom: “I’ve never heard of them.”

Sister: “You’ve never heard of Simon and Garfunkel?”

Mom: “No. I’m old. I don’t keep up with the stuff kids are listening to these days!”
