Should Have Been Iron, Man

(My friend and I are playing a game while we are watching an X-men movie. His army gets destroyed and he needs resources to build it back up.)

Friend: “I need 20k gold at least to get my spider queens back.”

Me: “All right.” *sends gold* “I sent you 14k; that’s all I can send.”

(A while later:)

Friend: “You never did send anything to me.”

Me: “Huh? I sent you the 14k gold.”

Friend: “I asked for iron.”

Me: “No, you asked for gold… so I sent you gold.”

Friend: *starting to laugh* “I needed iron… You should have read my mind!”
