Not Quite Making A Beeline For Manliness

(My siblings and I are on a long drive and my brother is driving. We all have different tastes in music and I’ve been trying to find songs for all of us.)

Sister: “You could play Don’t Stop Believing again.”

Me: “Oh! I just found a perfect song!”

(I put on ‘Be A Man’ from ‘Mulan.’ We all start singing along.)

Me: *gasp* “There’s a wasp in the car!”

Brother: “WHAT?! WHERE?!”

Me: “On the back of your chair, [Brother]! Roll down the windows!”

(My brother unexpectedly whips down a side street and pulls the car over. He throws open his door, leaps out, and runs a few feet in front of the car. My sister and I sit in stunned silence as he does a ‘get it off me’ dance. He then runs back to the car, just in time for the chorus.)

Brother: *starting to drive again* “Be a man! You must be swift as a coursing river. Be a man!”
