Customer: “I have to avoid gluten!”
Not a big deal since I have celiac disease and I have been avoiding gluten for years.
Customer: “I’d like the [Sandwich] and I’ll have that with whole wheat bread.”
Me: “Whole wheat bread has gluten.”
Customer: “But it’s healthier.”
Me: “But it contains gluten, so you need to avoid that.”
Customer: “No, it’s healthier to choose whole wheat!”
