His Single Thought Of The Day

(My husband and I are having a shower together. It should be mentioned that it is rare, if ever, that we shower without one another. I have just finished scrubbing his back when he starts gazing off with a puzzled look on his face.)

Me: “What are you thinking about?”

Husband: “Well, I was just wondering… How do single people wash their own backs? I’m so lucky.”

(Apparently the definition of ‘lucky’ now is finding a long term mate to wash your back for you. Romantic.)
