Flaunting Leads To Haunting

(My uncle recently passed away, and my mother and I are shopping for clothes to wear to the wake and funeral. I have come across a garish piece of ‘fashion’ and am cracking jokes about buying it.)

Me: “C’mon! Uncle Doc would approve!”

Mom: “Probably. But auntie Shirley wouldn’t. And Gram would come back and haunt you.”
