A-Dress-ing The Coffee Issue

(It is 8:15 am. Coworker #1 is a friend, wearing a pretty dress on this day, and has a cup in her hands.)

Me: “That’s a pretty dress!”

Coworker #1: “Coffee.”

(I stop and blink at her as that wasn’t anything close to the response I was expecting. As I start to giggle, Coworker #2 walks by.)

Coworker #2: “What’s so funny?”

Coworker #1: “Well, [My Name] asked me a question, and I told her coffee, because coffee is always the answer.”

(She’s not wrong!)
