In this story, I am a coach for a fencing summer camp for children aged 8 to 12. Another coach and I are fencing an exhibition bout to show the kids what it looks like (note: I had previously worked with some of the kids)
Head Coach: “So, guys, who do you want to win?”
Every single child: “[My Name]!”
Even though she let me win that one, both of us were breathless from laughing for the rest of the match.
