(I live with my mother. Due to the nature of our jobs – she’s a school nurse, I’m a librarian – we both get various national holidays off work. During one such holiday the alarm on my mom’s cell phone goes off.)
Me: Your phone alarm’s going off.
Mom: Yeah, that’s to tell me it’s time to head over to (other) school.
Me: *evil laugh* Not today, suckas!
Mom: *weird look*
