Unfiltered Story #292204
I’m waiting at the bus stop with some university friends. The town we are in is quite large and important. A group of teenage girls approach us.
Teenager: hey, sorry, can you tell us where we are?
I figure they’re tourists or on a school trip and tell them the street name.
Teenager: no, like, what town are we in?
My friends and I look at each other like, “is this a joke?”
Me: you are in (town), but —
Teenager: cool, thanks. Can you tell us how to get to the train station?
Me: just take the next bus
Teenager: thank you!
And they left. How the hell do you find yourself in a major town and don’t know it?
