It’s about 8 pm and the middle of my work day. I text my best friend in my lunch break.

Her: I am assuming you are at work.

Me: Yes and hating it. My partner is pregnant and always complaining about being sick. I’m more sick of her whining than she is of being pregnant.

Her: Lol. That is no fun.

Me: I wanted to strangle her.!

Her: No physical destruction to pregnant people. They can’t help being annoying.

Me: Ugh fine. Can I yell in exasperation?

Her: Yes. You may. I suggest a walk in freezer for screaming purposes.

Me: That’s the best idea I’ve heard all day.
