(It is Sunday morning. A very angry middle aged woman storms up to me at the counter, clutching a Bible to her chest.)

Woman: “Why sent you in church? Rebellious young people like you need to be in church! You should listen to the way of the Lord! Why aren’t you in church? WHY AREN’T YOU IN CHURCH? LISTEN TO THE WAY OF THE LORD. WHY AREN’T YOU IN CHURCH?”

(She screams this to people around her for almost a minute and then turns back to me.)

Me: “Ma’am, with all due respect, if you’re so determined that everyone should be in church, why aren’t you?”

(She was removed by mall security. I never saw her again.)
