(A customer arrives with her husband.)
Customer: “We need a room.”
Me: “We only have one room left, and it has a King Bed in it.”
Customer: “Hmmm…”
Me: “Is it ok?”
Customer: “No 2 beds?”
Me: “No. So, will you take it?”
Customer: “Yeah we’ll take it!”
(I go through the check in process. She takes her keys and leaves. Moments later, she’s back.)
Customer: “That has only one King Bed! We are three!”
Me: “Uh, I did tell you that.”
Customer: *blank stare*
Me: “… you did say it was ok?”
Customer: “But we are three! Where is my teen daughter supposed to sleep!”
Me: *internal sigh* “I’ll get you a cot…”
(I don’t know why she just didn’t ask for one before!)
