Unfiltered Story #192950

(I work at a firearms store that is currently preparing to move to another location. We were closed today in order to pack up the store. However, this did not prevent customer after customer from banging on the door, including this gem:)

Customer, knocking on locked door: Are y’all open?

Me: Sorry, we’re closed.

Customer: But can’t I just come in and look?

Me: Sir, we’re packing up the store to move, we’re closed.

Customer: I just want to look!

We reluctantly let him in and let him look around as we continue boxing up the store.

Customer: I’m very disappointed, you don’t have very much inventory out at all!

He storms out, leaving my manager and I understandably shocked.
