(I am working in a laptop support and repair internship for my high school. I’m the only one in the office and i’m working on about 3 different student laptops with parts and tools spread all over my work area.)

Student: *Walks in with her laptop in hand and watches me while I finish screwing in a part*

Me: Just a sec… *Finishes and looks up* Sorry about that, miss, can I help you?

Student: Is this the laptop repair place?

(Sadly, I get this exchange quite often.)
