Unfiltered Story #119707
Recently, I photographed a wedding. The ceremony was supposed to be held outdoors, but due to rainy weather it had to be moved indoors to the reception hall. To compensate for the room being so dimly lit I set up my flash. As I was testing the exposure, the minister approached me.
Minister: Is that going to go off for EVERY photo you take?
Me: Yes it is ma’am. I need it to light up my shot.
Minister: Yes, but it’s just so, so, obnoxious. Do you really need it to go off for every photo? Can’t you just turn it off?
Me: Well, unless my clients want their photos to be dark and muddy, I’m afraid I can’t do that.
