(I am running one of the twenty items or less lines at my store when a male in his early twenties approaches with a box of soda his mother behind him)
Me: *ringing up the soda* Mkay honey! That’ll be $3.00.
Man: $3.00?!? The d*mn tag said it was $4.38!!
Me: *thinking* …uh what? Is this guy mad cause its less?
Mother: Just take it up to customer service dear this girl clearly doesn’t know what shes doing nor does she probably care.
Man: Fine whatever *he pays me*
Me: *hands him his receipt and smiles* Have a good day!
Man: *mutters then walks off to customer service*
