When You Wish Their “Threat” Was A Promise
A customer is making a purchase.
Me: “Just to remind you, that this is a non-returnable item.”
Guess who comes back later to return it?
Me: “Sorry, sir, but this is a non-returnable item.”
Customer: “I want to speak to your manager.”
I get the manager.
Manager: “I’m sorry, sir, but this is a non-returnable item.”
Customer: “I know lots of guys who shop here, and not only will I not ever be back, I’ll make sure none of them will be either.”
The very next day, he’s in, purchasing about a $100 of hunting stuff. Never said a word to anybody and wouldn’t make eye contact. Still see him every couple of months. I smile really wide every time I see him.
