When Baggy Comes With The Threat Of Baggage

(I am about 13, and getting into the fashion trend of baggy jeans. My mom doesn’t like it at all.)

Mom: “Only gangsters wear their pants like that. You’re better than that!”

Me: “Mom, maybe you should try it. How do you know you don’t like it if you never tried it?”

Mom: “If I wear it, then you’ll have to go to school with a pink Barbie backpack!”

Me: “Fine! I’ll do it!”

(Obviously she didn’t mean it, because she never bought me a pink Barbie backpack and gave me a look when I asked about it!)
