Too Afraid To Judge
(My sister got her driver’s license about six months ago, and since then has rarely driven when both parents are in the car. On this occasion, she’s driving both parents through heavy rush-hour traffic and my parents are backseat driving. My sister has had enough.)
Sister: “I feel like you guys are judging me when I drive with you.”
Mom: “I’m not judging you, but sometimes I feel afraid.”
