(I’m in a chemistry class, where the teacher is trying to find the value of a very small number in an equation.)

Teacher: “The number is so small, that it’s almost insignificant. So, why am I wasting my time here?” *referring to the problem*

Me: *not paying much attention* “Because you get paid to be here?”
