Student: “What’s your name?”

Me: “Luke.”

Student: “That’s just your nickname. What’s your real name? Lucas?”

Me: “No, Luke is my first name; never had any other.”

Student: “That can’t be right; Luke isn’t a real name.”

Me: “It says Luke on my birth certificate.”

Student: “I don’t care what it says on your birth certificate; Luke can’t be your name because it’s not a real name. It’s just a nickname of Lucas or a made up name from Star Wars.”

Me: “Err, it’s also one of the books of The Bible.”

Student: “Oh whatever. Be stubborn. I know it’s not a real name.”
