Standing Orders To Let Him Sleep

(This in my ninth-grade Health Ed. class. My best friend has a tendency to fall asleep in class, getting into trouble a lot for it. When he falls asleep this time, though, the teacher tries a new tactic besides detention.)
Teacher: “All right, [Friend]. Go stand at the back of the class and pay attention.”
Friend: *gets up and goes to lean against the wall*
(The class continued as normal, until halfway through we heard snoring. [Friend] was still leaning against the wall… fast asleep. The teacher finally just gave up and let him sleep.)
