Puppy Dog Eyes Not Required

(My boyfriend and I have recently adopted a puppy. He’s 10 weeks old and not yet housetrained.)

Me: “Hey, babe, can you pick up paper towels today? I’ve asked you three times this week, and if you don’t get them tonight I’m going to start using your clothes to clean up the puppy’s messes!”

Boyfriend: “You can’t do that! Use your own clothes!”

Me: “No, my clothes are too pretty! I’m too pretty!”

Boyfriend: “Exactly, so you don’t need any clothes!”

Me: “… Touché.”
