(In our tenth-grade world history class, our teacher keeps her computer connected to the projector so that she can show us pictures of the people we are learning about. During our unit on Victorian England, we ask to see a picture of Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert.)
Teacher: *scrolling down through Google Images* “As you can see, Prince Albert was— Oh, god!”
(And that was the day our entire class learned about the existence of a Prince Albert piercing.)
