Not Quite A (Key)Stroke Of Genius
(My boyfriend is driving me back from work in my van. Halfway home, I panic.)
Me: “Did I grab my keys?!”
Boyfriend: “Hmmm… did you grab your keys?”
Me: “Yeah, I can’t remember if I grabbed them or not.”
Boyfriend: “Well, let’s see… are we driving your van?”
(I pause after the realization hits that we are, in fact, in my van.)
Me: “I swear, Babe, that I’m not this stupid.”
(The worst part? That was the second time I freaked out about my keys while he was driving my van in one week.)
