Mom Gets Very Animated About It

(My brother and I enjoy watching anime and we are currently watching a film that is most definitely not aimed at children. Our mom doesn’t understand; she sees animation and just assumes it must be meant for children.)

Mom: “I just don’t get why our children are still into kiddie stuff.”

Me: “It’s not kiddie stuff!”

Mom: “You would never have seen me sitting there watching cartoons when I was your age.”

Brother: “Yesterday you were watching Shaun the Sheep!”
