He’d Better Comic Strip

(My best friend convinces me to dress up and go trick-or-treating at this girl that he like’s house. She hates clowns, but my buddy thinks it will be funny to dress up as one anyway.)

Girl: *answers the door* “Happy Hall—what the h*** are you wearing, [buddy’s name]?”

Buddy: “I’m a clown!”

Girl: “I see… nice Batman costume, [my name]. Here, you get candy.” *to my buddy* “No candy for you, though, jerk.”

My Buddy: “That’s okay. What kind of treat do I get instead?”

Girl: “Wipe off the makeup and get rid of the wig, then we’ll talk.” *slams the door in his face*

Buddy: “Yep, she wants me.”
