(My parents have bought me a new game console for my birthday, and have hidden it in my grandmother’s room. My grandma is supposed to go shopping for the day, and so isn’t expecting anyone to be in her room. It is my birthday, so my parents push me to go inside. However, my grandma had gone back into her room without my parents noticing.)

Mom: “Now, make sure not to be too happy with what we got you.”

Dad: “You’ll be happy, but please don’t scream like you usually do.”

Me: *confused* “Okay?”

(I open the door, and my grandma is standing directly in front of me holding her glasses.)

Me: *sarcastically* “Oh, boy! You bought me grandma!”

Dad: “What the—what are you doing in here?!”

Grandma: “What do you mean?! This is my room!”

Dad: “But you were supposed to leave for the day!”

Grandma: “I forgot my glasses!”

Me: *still confused* “Wait, is grandma really the surprise?”
