(I was not present for this. My brother later told me about it. He’s very skeptical of religion, but since we go to a Catholic school he gets a lot of that sort of talk.)
Teacher: “So Adam was the first man, and Eve was the first woman. Together they were the first humans.”
(My brother raises his hand.)
Brother: “After Adam and Eve had kids, wouldn’t their kids have had to have sex? Like, with each other? Which would make all of us—”
Teacher: “LET’S NOT GET INTO THE GENETICS OF IT!”
