Empower With A Flower

(This took place when I was in high school. My English class that year was right after lunch, and since our teacher was pretty friendly a lot of us would come to her class a few minutes early to read or talk to her about our assignments. For a while, my assigned seat was right next to our teacher’s desk. One day, a classmate of mine whose pants were always falling down came up to talk to the teacher while I was sitting and reading. At the end of their discussion:)

Teacher: *leans around Classmate to talk to me* “So, what boxers are [Classmate] here wearing today?”

Me: “They look like some sort of pink floral pattern…”

Classmate: *leaps away from me, hands on his backside* “They’re airplanes! And they used to be red!”

Teacher: “Sure, sure, let’s go with that.”
