Cause For An Un-Pregnant Pause
(I’m texting my boyfriend around nine pm. I am NOT a coffee drinker by any means but for some reason, on this night, I just had to have coffee.)
Boyfriend: “What are you doing?”
Me: “Going to go get coffee.”
(I pause.)
Me: “Oh and Mother Nature told me to tell you that I’m not pregnant.”
Boyfriend: “Whoa.”
Me: “What?”
Boyfriend: “You getting coffee.”
