A Heated Touching Sentiment

(My husband and I are cooking dinner together, making tacos. I’ve just finished opening a can of jalapenos. Let it be noted that I cannot stand spicy food, whereas my husband loves it.)

Me: “[Husband], you get to drain the jalapenos. I’m not touching them.”

Husband: “They’re not even that hot!”

Me: “They ARE that hot.”

Husband: “YOU’RE that hot! And I touch you all the time.”

(We both burst into giggles.)

Me: “Okay, I’ll admit that was pretty good.”
