[Because of the recent hurricane,as well as an even more recent cold front in our area, my brother has had to bring all his flowerpots inside. They’ve brought with them a herd of gnats.]
Me: *Marching into my brother’s room with determination* “I am a warrior.”
Bro: *Completely unimpressed*
Me: “I have been fortified. I will not be defeated! ThEy WiLL NOt PASS!”
Bro: “Get on with it!”
Me: *Pitifully* “The gnats can’t get my chocolate milk if there’s a lid on it.” *Holds up Powerade bottle I sent through the dishwasher and refilled with chocolate milk*
