Unfiltered Story #328131

| Unfiltered | May 4, 2024

(This happened a few years ago, and sadly the cat in this story is now deceased. He was my late sisters cat, Riley. Riley was a massive tuxedo cat, but had his quirks. They were very random, and very few and far. We had this massive scratching post that had multiple places to sleep on, and at the time, it could hold all our cats and we had many! It was situated between the living room and dining room of the house we rented.)
Me: I’m going in the kitchen to get some coffee, you two want anything?
Mom: Yeah grab me a soda.
Dad: I’m good.
Me: *walks by the scratching post, stopping long enough to scratch Riley between the ears* Hey boy. *walks away*
Riley: *reaches out to paw me and effectively slaps me on the butt*
Me: WOAH NOW.
(It left my parents and I in tears from laughing so hard. I have never been slapped on the butt by anyone other than my late husband, but a cat!?)
