(It’s the mid 90s and I’m about 12 in this story. We’ve just gotten our first computer and I’m browsing the internet for the first time. My mom, being who she is, is standing behind me and making sure I’m not going logging on to any questionable sites.)

Mom: Uh-oh… whatever you do, don’t click on that link.

(She then points to the icon of a glowing “X”.)

Me: (Realizing what she’s thinking) Uh… Mom, that stands for “The X Files”.
