Unfiltered Story #273069

I’ve already been on a campaign to increase safety at this company for several months. One of my victories is that we’ve had airconditioning installed, because in summer people have been very tempted to leave their hot lab coats at the door.
Coming back from lunch in the cafeteria I see people looking at the lab and saying things like “Yeah, it’s very comfortable.”
As I walk past them I see a coworker from another department sitting in the lab, eating a bowl of yoghurt.
As I open the door my face must have told a pretty clear story, because she instantly says “Oh, is this not allowed?”. I give a firm “No.” and she moves out.
Sometimes I really marvel at the people in a terrible way.
