Unfiltered Story #248391

(I’m doing an art course through an adult education centre while I’m unemployed. The qualification for the entire module set is lower than Leaving Cert/A-Level/GED, but it gets me out of the house and talking to other people so there’s really nothing to lose. Our tutor and small group are very laid-back and all supportive of eachother, but there is still a professional relationship there behind the rambling discussions of pets and family and life in general. This was the last day we’d see our tutor until the new year as she has the following week off..)

Tutor: “Alright, let’s take a break. *reaches over to her handbag* Here’s something for your tea. Happy Christmas!”

(She handed us a small chocolate cake, which we shared with all the other students we sit with in the canteen. It blew us away with her generosity and we felt awful for not getting her anything, but we’ll be sure to repay her kindness in January….)

Question of the Week

Have you ever served a bad customer who got what they deserved?

I have a story to share!
