A few years ago I worked at a dollar store that had a rack of party items like whistles and finger traps that were all around 30¢ and next to the check out stand. Unfortunately people are curious and there were whistles so we had a sign that said “if you blow it you buy it” next to them. I had some customers blow them and pretend they didn’t because they didn’t want to pay for them but worst of all I got:
Customer: If you blow me I’ll pay you.
