(I’m currently working at a section of the buffet that cuts slices of meat for customers. Our options are ham, turkey breast, pastrami, beef brisket, and sausage. An older gentleman who comes in almost everyday approaches me for a slice of meat)

Customer: *points at pastrami* Slice of beef.

Me: *Cuts pastrami*

Customer: *Looks at pastrami with quizzical look on face* No, no, no. That beef is WAY undercooked. You guys need to cook that longer.

Me: Oh sir, it’s pastrami. I can assure you that it’s cooked well. It’s just the way it’s prepared is what makes it keep the red look.

Customer: I don’t care if it’s macaroni, it’s not cooked.

Me: *dumbfounded as the customer walks away*
