(I work at a small amusement park where some of the rides cost money. It is half an hour until closing time:)

Kid: “Can we go on for free?”

Me: No sorry.

Kid: But it’s almost closing time!

Me: Ya still no, sorry. There are rules.

Kid: But it’s nearly closing! You can’t be making any money with only a half hour until closing!

Me: Uh… I can’t just let everyone go on for free.

Kid: Ugh you suck! *stomps away*
