This Is Not Pants-Free Weather
(I work at Customer Service for a housing company and my job is to answer questions or make appointments. While I often have the good, the bad, and the ugly, I also had this gem which brightened up my day.)
Customer: “I’m sorry for asking so many questions. This is my first time I’m going to rent a house.”
Me: “No problem, sir. Do you have a pen and paper to make notes?”
Customer: “Eh, yeah, let me grab one…” *suddenly changing tone, whispering* “Put on some pants!”
(Before I can reply to ask if that was directed to me, I hear:)
Little Boy’s Voice: “Why?”
Customer: “Because it’s raining! Now put them on!”
(The customer heard me laughing and apologised for his four-year-old-son. I told him that if it would help, he could tell his son it was raining where I was, too.)
Question of the Week
