(I am 16, and I dress pretty gothic. I am getting a picture taken so I dress up, wearing my favorite purple fishnet sleeved jacket and platform knee high buckled boots, with heavy eyeliner and teased up hair. As I reached the door, a mother and her little boy are going inside, and the little boy is staring at me with wide eyes, and hiding behind his mother’s legs. I smile at him, and as I pass I overhear them.)
Boy: “Mommy, who was that girl?”
Mother: “I don’t know, sweetheart.”
Boy: “I think she’s really beautiful!”
(It made me smile so much, I didn’t have to fake it for the camera!)
