Moltar & Zoltar’s Lesser-Known Sibling

Me: *throwing my arms up in the air randomly* “VOLTAR!”

Husband: “Isn’t that the machine from Big? Why are you yelling that?

Me: “No, that’s Zoltar.”

Husband: “Oh… so why are you yelling Voltar?”

Me: “I don’t know… is Voltar a thing? I feel like it’s a thing?”

(The next day:)

Me: “Did we ever look up that Voltar thing?”

Husband: “Uh… no, I don’t think we did.”

Me: “I’m Googling it… It was a comic strip in 1963? I don’t think this is what I was thinking of.”

Husband: “So you still don’t know why?”

Me: “uh….”

(A week later I start watching old episodes of Space Ghost Coast to Coast while my husband watches something else on his phone with headphones on.)

Me: *waving hands at husband all excited*

Husband: “Yes?”

Me: “VOLTAR WAS FROM SPACE GHOST!”

Husband: “Ah.” *puts headphones back in*

Me: *watches more than ten seconds of Space Ghost, pauses it and turns back to husband waving hands less excitedly*

Husband: “Yes?”

Me: *in a sad voice* “Sorry, it’s MOLTAR in Space Ghost…”

Husband: “Right…”

Me: “There is no Voltar….”
