Makes You Burst A Blood Vessel

(I am getting repeat calls from a young man looking for a young woman. The woman has a distinctly ethnic last name and mine is very Caucasian sounding. At this point I have had over 20 calls from the same young man for the same young woman in a matter of days. This time he is trying several calls back to back, thinking I will break down and put whomever he is calling for on the phone. Also, my fiancé has just had oral surgery that requires frequent changes of gauze bandages in his mouth and is still too loopy on the meds to change them himself.)

Young Man: “Hi, is [Name] there?”

Me: “LOOK! I TOLD YOU, STOP CALLING ME! I’M CLEANING UP BLOOD HERE!”

(That was the last call I ever got from him.)
