Could Have Been Breadly

(I’m pet-sitting. I talk the dog for a walk around my neighborhood. My crazy neighbor sees me and throws something at me. I was looking down at the time and didn’t notice at first. The dog wolfs down the thing, which I glimpsed as a dried out old piece of bread. I tried to stop him, but he swallows it. My neighbor thinks this is very amusing.)

Neighbor: “Ha ha ha… HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA!”

(I hurry away, the neighbor’s cackles getting louder. I look it up and am relieved to find out bread isn’t poisonous to dogs. But seriously, who throws that at dog walkers? And who knows if it really was bread?)
